Stations with 30%+ concentration flagged as HOT SPOT

What This Data Cannot Tell You

This ranking reflects how many officers from each station appear in the top 1,000 highest-paid CHP employees statewide. Stations with specialized missions (protective details, commercial vehicle enforcement) may have structurally different overtime patterns than highway patrol stations. Name-matching was used to link roster and payroll records; some matches may be imprecise. 287 of 1,000 compensation records could not be matched to a station.
